In this the year that celebrates the centenary of the Cub Scouts movement, RHS Garden Rosemoor gives you the opportunity to explore the great outdoors and to discover how much fun you can have as part of a Scouting group.
Throughout the week days there will be exciting activities which explore some of the key elements of Scouting badges, from orienteering around the garden to den building to and mini-beast hunts. There are also indoor craft activities to entertain the kids whatever the weather.

‘Scouting for All’ - – Trail around the garden
28 May to 05 June
With Rosemoor’s Great Garden Explorer Trail Map in hand, discover the answers to the clues by exploring the garden whilst not forgetting stop in the Copse and Brash for a play. Take care in the Brash where our new amazingly fast slide is ready to tempt you.
Nature Collage Craft Workshop for Families
Tuesday, 31 May 11am - – 1pm and 2pm - – 4pm.
Create a piece of art using natural materials found in the garden. This will help towards your the Naturalist Activity Badge.
Orienteering - Fun activity for Families
Wednesday, 1 June 11am - – 1pm and 2pm - – 4pm.
Discover your route around Rosemoor, locate yourself on the map using landmarks and find your way. This will help towards your the Navigator Staged Activity Badge.
Wildlife - – Mini Mini-Beast beast Hunt
Thursday 2 June, 11am - – 1pm and 2pm - – 4pm
Discover the mini-beasts and insects that use our garden as their home. Learn how to identify the different types of insects. This will help towards your the Naturalist Activity Badge.
Den making for Families
Friday, 3 June 11am - – 1pm and 2pm - – 4pm
Learn how to make a shelter big enough for two or more. This will give you a flavour of the Cubs Outdoors Challenge Award.
